Become more productive. Delegate

All entrepreneurs face the moment when performing all business tasks becomes impossible.

I’m convinced every entrepreneur’s success depends on his ability to prioritize tasks, automate others, and know how to delegate lower priority tasks. That allows the entrepreneur to focus on tasks that really grow his business.

It is imperative that entrepreneurs learn to save time and inject that extra time in their business and their personal lives.

As I said before, one of the keys to being productive is to know how to prioritize your tasks.

Some people focus on the urgent issues, which demand immediate attention rather than focusing on what really matters. If you don’t know how to prioritize, you spend much of your time paying attention to urgent tasks. In the end, you don’t have time to handle the important issues.

To priorize your tasks appropriately you should try to identify the following:
• What tasks contribute to the goals you’ve set for your business and for yourself.
• Tasks that generate more revenue
• Check which tasks generate less income
• Consider how long each task will take. In some cases, no time-consuming tasks can give results immediately.
• Identify which tasks are blocking other tasks.

Automating all possible tasks is also important to be more productive. There are many tools available that allow you to automate some tasks.

  • Program your interaction in social networks with specific tools. Social networks require dedication. If we don’t interact with others, it won’t give us the result we want. You can use a tool like Hootsuite to schedule your posts the day and time you want. This way you can plan your schedule your post in only a few minutes a day.
  • Use an autoresponder to organize your emails. Having an autoresponder allows you to automatically send emails without being aware of your prospects and constantly managing your list.
  • Automate the way you write the content of your blog. I suggest you to schedule a specific day of the week to focus on creating your content. On this day you can focus to create articles or enough material for the whole month, so you will not have to do this activity during the month.
  • Publish your content. In your WordPress blog tool, you have the option to publish your content on the date you specify.

Delegating tasks we don’t like, we don’t know how to perform or we don’t have time to do, but are necessary is sometimes hard, but when you try it, you regret not having done it before.

You can hire a virtual assistant to help you with tasks you can delegate, social networks, customer service, management of your products and services, administration.
Instead of constantly monitoring your inbox, you can hire an assistant do it, trusting her to prioritize and let you know when an urgent request comes in.
